Frequently asked Questions
Do I need any experience with clay?
No experience is needed at all. Workshops are suitable for complete beginners, and everything is explained step by step. If you’ve worked with clay before, guidance can be adapted to help you develop your skills further.
What will I make?
This depends on the session. Some workshops focus on specific techniques, while one-to-one and small group sessions allow more flexibility. Once you register your interest, you’ll be sent details and options for what you’ll be making.
Are the sessions structured or open-ended?
Sessions are structured and guided, with space to experiment. You’ll be supported throughout, so you’re never left unsure what to do next.
What’s the difference between one-to-one and small group sessions?
One-to-one sessions offer focused, individual support. Small group workshops (up to four people) are more social, but still allow for plenty of individual guidance.

Your work will be dried, fired, and finished in the studio. You’ll be contacted when it’s ready to collect.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials and tools are provided unless stated otherwise. For some workshops, you may be invited to bring a simple object or reference, but this is always optional.
